Utah State Capitol Building


Located in Salt Lake City this is one of the most iconic photography locations in Utah. It offers a sophisticated backdrop that works year-round. This location is known for it's columns, granite staircases, and the elegant rotunda filled with natural light. The building sits elevated on Capitol Hill and provides one of the best city views in the valley. Here are some key times or favorite spots at the capitol.

  • The Cherry Blossoms bloom late March or early April. The walkway surrounding the building transforms into a tunnel of pink and white blossoms, creating one of the most sought-after seasonal backdrops in the state.
